My Purpose as a Creative:
Sports have always been a part of who I am.
Growing up in LaGrange, Georgia, taught me the value of hard work early. In a small town, I witnessed firsthand how sports and art fuse within the culture to bring people of different backgrounds together. Friday night lights, packed gyms, community events, and local talent on display. Those moments showed me that competition and creativity are not separate worlds. They move together, and when combined, they can unite entire communities.
Before I ever picked up a camera, I picked up a paintbrush. In middle school, art became my outlet outside of my love for sports. By the time I reached high school, I felt ready to evolve creatively. I decided to put down the brush and pick up the camera. In an AV and Film class, I was assigned to create a hype video for the 10 a.m. weight training class. That project changed everything. I realized I did not want to only play or only watch sports. I wanted to share my love of it with others through digital media
Since December 2022, I have dedicated myself to capturing the intensity, discipline, and emotion that define sports, beginning with high school basketball. What draws me in most is rhythm. Every sport has a tempo, just like music has a BPM. The pace of the game, the build-up before a big play, the energy of the crowd. When visuals and sound are aligned with intention, they move together naturally. That relationship between audio and image is what allows me to create work that feels alive.
I am driven by persistence, consistency, and the constant pursuit of growth. Art is always evolving, and I make it a priority to evolve with it. Whether I am problem-solving in the editing process, learning new techniques, or refining my approach to storytelling, I am committed to improving both creatively and professionally. My goal is to be the bridge between my client’s vision and reality.
While sports remain the core of my work, I bring that same focus and discipline to concerts, events, portraits, graduations, weddings, and documentaries. Whether I am helping an athlete grow their brand, creating a recap that builds anticipation for the next event, or capturing a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, I approach every project with intention.
I believe sports and art share the same foundation: passion, discipline, and community. My work lives at the intersection of all three.
